One year. One community. An impact that keeps growing.
Bloom with Bright Harbor is a year-long community engagement and fundraising series bringing together recovery, mental wellness, stigma reduction, community partnerships, Salt Bridge Farm, Stiggy, and meaningful opportunities to support Bright Harbor Healthcare.
Bloom is one campaign, told across eleven months — recovery, a farm, a pie sale, a season of giving, a month-long movement, a festival, a golf outing, a birthday, and a shark.
Each month stands on its own, and each month feeds the next. A visitor in October becomes a pie customer in November. A pie customer takes a farm tour. A tour becomes a partnership. A partnership becomes a festival booth in April.
That is the Ripple Effect — and it is the reason this is a year, not a calendar.

A Thanksgiving fundraiser built around something everyone already needs. Order your pies, then pick them up at Salt Bridge Farm — and while you're there, add a farm tour.

Every pie supports Bright Harbor Healthcare programs, and every pickup brings another neighbor onto the farm for the first time.

Dine & Bloom
A month-long movement across local restaurants and businesses.
All month long, restaurants host Dine & Donate nights, businesses host Salt Bridge Farm pop-ups, and the community eats local, shops local, and talks openly about mental health.
Why it matters
When mental health conversations happen in restaurants and storefronts instead of only in clinical settings, stigma gets smaller.

Bloom with Stiggy: Stiggy's Birthday
Anti-stigma, playfulness, community
Stiggy is Bright Harbor's anti-stigma shark, and June is his birthday. This activation throws him a party while reinforcing the message he carries everywhere he goes.
Why it matters
Stiggy makes hard conversations easier. A birthday party is a very low-pressure way to talk about stigma, mental wellness, and asking for help.

Stiggy's Blooming Shark Week
Something big is swimming this way.
Bloom closes its active event season with a special Shark Week-themed Stiggy activation connecting his anti-stigma message with summer community engagement.
Why it matters
Summer is when the community is outside and together. Ending the season with Stiggy keeps the anti-stigma message in the water all summer long.

July and August are intentionally lighter. Bright Harbor participates in National Night Out activities, and the Development team uses this period to evaluate the Bloom series, identify what worked, develop new ideas and partnerships, and build the next version of Bloom with Bright Harbor.
